Update.. if you are a Verizon fan……..You can now use the iPhone. Catch 22..you have to buy an iPhone! If you own an iPhone and want to switch to Verizon you still have to buy a new iPhone. Next Sprint, T-Mobile? Crazy, YES!
Cell phones… oh my God how in the world did I get through life without one. I admit we do own one cell phone. I got the phone because when was always going on trips to town without me and I thought thought it would be a good idea in case she got into any problems. So I went with Virgin and it costs me only five dollars a month. Of course you have a higher rate per minute, but if you don’t talk doesn’t cost you anything. The minutes just keep adding up so it will probably last me for the rest of my life.
I guess what I hate the most about cell phones is that people are always talking everywhere you go. I used to fly a lot so I spent a lot of time in airports. You could sit and read and watch people and not be interrupted by the person sitting next to you calling everybody on their speed dial to let them know that their giddy on your plane and going to Hawaii or wherever. I guess that is a way to impress your friends.
When they first came out the only people they were trying to impress you were important looking businessmen hanging out and talking on their phones. Now it is everybody. Not only are they always talking but for some reason they think they have to talk louder when they’re talking on their cell phone. What’s up with that! I guess there are attention seekers who speak loudly on purpose to gain attention and promote their arrogance strangers these people need our sympathy because they are constantly seeking approval from anyone within earshot distance.
