Romney Road Trip

I recently became aware that my Grandson, Nick, was working for the Mitt Romney campaign and I became concerned.

If and when a bus tour is scheduled and the bus does not have enough room for the junior staff will they have to ride in pet carriers strapped to the top of the bus? I just hope Nick doesn’t mention that he likes “fresh air”.

Nick, Thanks for the comment. I am really impressed that you showed your sense of humor, as this is what I meant it to be. Love Grandpa

Happy Father’s Day Dad! Your abundant talents and creativity are obvious!

Isn’t it great that we have an open democracy that allows for opposing views to be examined in the public square. We need opposing views to help us avoid emotionalized group think and collective sanctimony whether on the right or the left! President Obama should be given a little slack. Democracy shouldn’t be about competing labels, but rather about the civil clash of ideas. Not every one who disagrees with some of President Obama’s policies disagree with him because they are racists! This experiment called America is bigger than partisan bickering and name calling. Long live the dialectic of democracy!

Haha, Grandpa Gary. I must have inherited the good sense of humor from you. I’m glad to have it. Happy Father’s Day! Love, Nick
